Prime Minister Mihai Tudose: The Government backs the development of the Jiu Valley and the revitalization of the area through tourism

Prime Minister Mihai Tudose and Vice Prime Minister Ion Marcel Ciolacu received a delegation of mayors from the Jiu Valley, Hunedoara County, today, at Victoria Palace.

The discussions focused on the problems faced by the former mining areas: the situation of the Hunedoara Energy Complex (CEH), the employment, the centralized heating and road infrastructure, respectively the situation of national roads crossing municipalities, and especially the completion of the National Road (DN) 66 A, on the Uricani - Herculane section, which could revitalize local tourism. The situation of the Brad-based Gold Museum and the solutions for the refurbishment of this institution's premises were discussed too.

"The Government backs the projects that can contribute to the development of the Jiu Valley and the revitalization of this area through tourism," stated Prime Minister Mihai Tudose.

State Advisors Gabriel Andronache and Felix Rache also attended the meeting, on behalf of the Government.
