Prime Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă’s working meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba

Prime Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba at Victoria Palace.
The security and military situation in the region, as a result of the Russian military aggression, was analyzed during the meeting.
The Romanian Prime Minister presented the efforts of the authorities alongside civil society, volunteers and international humanitarian organizations to support more than 800 thousand Ukrainian refugees who have arrived in our country since the outbreak of the war. The important role of the Suceava humanitarian hub in collecting and coordinating European and international aid was also underlined. On this occasion, Prime Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă gave assurances on the continuation of the support provided to Ukraine in terms of humanitarian aid, managing the refugees’ influx and facilitating Ukrainian exports.
In his turn, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba presented, at length, the military situation on the ground, in Ukraine, and thanked the Romanian Government and citizens for all their solidarity and support since the outbreak of the Russian military aggression. At the same time, the Ukrainian diplomat extended an invitation to Romania to substantially contribute to the efforts.
