As of Monday, December 20, citizens entering Romania, will not be required anymore to complete the epidemiological declaration

Starting Monday, December 20, 2021, citizens entering Romania will not be required anymore to complete the epidemiological declaration, checked so far at the border crossing points, as the epidemiological declaration data can be found in the digital registration form for entering Romania.

The digital entry form will reduce the waiting time at the border checkpoint given that the citizens will have to pass a single filter, not two as before, the data verification being automated.

The digital form for entering Romania (PLF) will become effective as of December 20 this year and it can be completed online in the application https://plf.gov.ro starting December 19 so that all travellers to Romania have enough time to access it.

The form, developed by STS, based on the operational requirements established by medical authorities, must not be printed because at the border checkpoint, at identity card/passport scan, allows the form data to be displayed in the Border Police computer application.

We remind you that this form must be completed no later than 24 hours before the arrival at the border checkpoint. The data must be entered correctly because the computer system is interconnected with DEPABD and the Border Police for the validation of identity data and Corona-forms, the application registering individuals infected with SARS-CoV-2, in isolation or quarantine.

The document is already in use in 18 Member States.
