Prime Minister Mihai Tudose has submitted his resignation
Prime Minister Mihai Tudose has submitted his resignation this evening, and according to the law on the organization and functioning of the Government, a formal letter will be sent to the Presidential Administration tomorrow. Under the procedures, the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis will take note of the resignation of Prime Minister Mihai Tudose, and will issue the vacancy Decree as well as the Decree appointing another member of the Cabinet as interim Prime Minister to fulfill the duties of the Prime Minister until the formation of the new Cabinet. Both Presidential Decrees will enter into force once they are published in the Official Gazette.
